The Department of Communication and Journalism and the Darling Marine Center at the University of Maine invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in communication, team science and coastal resilience. This position is affiliated with a $20 million National Science Foundation (NSF) award to the University of Maine, the Bigelow Laboratory of Ocean Sciences, and seven other partner institutions to create the Maine-eDNA project (https://umaine.edu/edna/). The Postdoctoral Research Associate in Communication, Team Science, and Coastal Resilience will work with Dr. Bridie McGreavy and Dr. Heather Leslie to co-lead and contribute to communication-focused studies of team science, citizen science, and transdisciplinary collaborations. Primary responsibilities will include conducting engaged and mixed methods social science research and supporting the development of effective, equitable, and transdisciplinary approaches to resilience-focused collaborations.
