Call for applications for Visiting Research Fellowships
Deadline:
January 6, 2023

We are inviting external applications for Visiting Research Fellows to join the Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics (CSECP) at the University of Brighton, UK, in Spring/Summer 2023.

Visiting Research Fellows (VRF) can be academics or individuals working in the private, public, or charitable sectors. CSECP will provide up to £2000 for travel, accommodation and associated expenses (£2000 includes the £200 registration fee).

Researchers at the Centre for Spatial, Environmental and Cultural Politics undertake interdisciplinary research to address interconnected global and planetary challenges. We encourage applications that address one or more of our three interrelated themes:

  • Climate justice and environmental politics
  • Migration and mobilities
  • Spatial inequalities and injustices

VRFs will need to be supported by a sponsor (member of staff) from the Centre. Information about Centre members can be accessed here https://www.brighton.ac.uk/secp/who-we-are/index.aspx

Information about the Fellowship and application forms can be accessed through our blog page:

Queries can be directed to the Centre Co-Directors, Professor Julie Doyle (j.doyle@brighton.ac.uk) and Dr Nichola Khan (N.Khan@brighton.ac.uk)
