COCE Panel on Communication, Economics and the Environment

Hi all –

I hope that this finds you well.

I am interested in proposing a panel and related workshop (or roundtable discussion) for COCE next summer at James Madison University (June 5 – 9, 2023).

The panel will share research linking communication, economics (in particular, the growth economy) and the environment (in particular, climate change).

The subsequent workshop – or perhaps a roundtable discussion – would be a hands-on opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities for communicating alternative economics such as degrowth.

There is a lot of room for figuring out the details together, but this is the essence of what I am thinking...
