February 6, 2015

The Environmental Studies Association of Canada (ESAC.ca) is extending its deadline for proposals for its annual conference. The new due date for proposals is this Friday, February 6, 2015.

This year's conference will take place at the University of Ottawa, from June 2–4. Confirmed keynote speakers include John Bennett (Executive Director of Sierra Club Canada) and Dave Ireland, Managing Director of the ROM's Centre of Discovery in Biodiversity and winner of ESAC's 2014 ECO-Award. Back by popular demand, ESAC has teamed up with the Canadian Historical Association (CHA) and the Network in Canadian History of the Environment (NiCHE) to put on its second Roundtable on Environmental History, featuring some of Canada's leading scholars in the field. A special 'green tour' of the campus and Ottawa is also in the works.

ESAC 2015 promises to be an exciting and insightful event. Apply now to present your environmental research. Full details on the submission process are available at: http://www.esac.ca/2014/11/esac-conference-2015-call-for-proposals
