| | UNFCCC The IECA is recognized as a Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organization (RINGO), a constituency of the UNFCCC. RINGOs conduct research and other activities to address climate change. This designation enables the IECA to attend COP and SB meetings. |

| | ICA The ICA is a global professional association for those engaged in the scholarly study of communication. ICA holds an annual convention, publishes journals and books, and provides other resources. IECA is granted a dedicated panel session at the ICA conference. |

| | IAMCR The International Association for Media and Communication Research aims to support and develop media and communication research throughout the world. IECA selects members to represent our organization at IAMCR; these representatives are eligible for IAMCR grants and awards. |

PCT seeks to promote new ideas, methods, intellectual and practical questions, and perspectives on the communication of science and technology. |
