Abstract:

Talking about breakup is one of the important adaptation and resilience strategies practiced in a changing climate. Institutionalized discourses and informal networks for information sharing are practiced in different measures among circumpolar populations.  Symbolic message exchanges both verbally and nonverbally allow nuanced sharing of information to keep up with adapting to the changes.
