Registering for COCE 2015 is a two-step process. After you submit the form below (for The IECA's records), you will be taken to the CU Boulder site to complete your payment.
Registration for COCE 2015 includes the following:
- Conference materials
- Admission to all COCE 2015 plenary and panel sessions, including keynotes.
- Reception on June 11.
- Snacks on June 12, 13 and 14.
- Lunch on June 12 and 13.
- Reception and conference dinner on June 12.
- Access to live streams (one panel per session will be streamed live) as well as recordings of all conference sessions.
Please note that Virtual Conference registration only includes the live streams and session recordings. We will not be delivering your meals or snacks ;-) Presenters using this option will use Skype to deliver their talks.
The deadline for early bird registration is 11:59 pm Eastern time on
February 28, 2015 EXTENDED TO MARCH 31, 2015. After that fees go up about 20% in all categories.
The deadline to register online for the conference is 11:59 pm Eastern time on May 28, 2015.
IMPORTANT CHANGE: After May 28 you will only be able to register for the Virtual conference online. June 11-14 you can register on site, but there will be no member discounts due to the fact that it will not be possible to verify member status at the registration desk. So if you want the member discount, you need to register by May 28.
The conference is over, but you can still register for Virtual COCE 2015 which will give you access to over 100 hours of high quality video recordings of the many conference keynotes and panels. Almost the whole conference is available. You will also be able to access the papers that presenters have uploaded (if they have done so). Use the form below to register.
Registration fees are in U.S. dollars.
There are discounts for FULL-TIME students at any level and for residents of lower income countries (LIC). See the box to the left for guidance.
Members of THE IECA (except in the Professional category) also receive discounts on conference fees according to the rates below. If you want the member discount, then you need to ensure that your membership for 2015 is paid prior to registration. Please join or renew BEFORE registering.
Please note that if you register as an IECA member, we will check your membership status. If your membership status does not match your registration category, we will change your registration to the correct category and you will be refunded or charged for the difference.
All presenters MUST be members of the IECA in 2015.

The conference organizers are committed to making the 2015 COCE conference a sustainable event. CU Conference Services has partnered with the Environmental Center (E-Center) at the University of Colorado Boulder to allow conference attendees to purchase carbon offset credits. Funds from carbon offsets go towards carbon emission reduction projects that would not have been possible without the purchase of offsets, such as solar hot water heaters in affordable housing. These carbon offsets are available for purchase an additional cost, based on attendee travel. For more information on the university's carbon offset program, please visit the E-Center website.
Payment will be made through the University of Colorado Boulder. They cannot accept purchase orders or bank transfers for payment of registration fees. They use a secure site for credit card payments and we encourage all participants to register and pay online. Otherwise, you can pay by a U.S. check.
Now that the conference is over, payment for access to Virtual COCE 2015 must be made using a credit card directly to The IECA.
- For your convenience, a screen will appear confirming your registration. A confirmation will also be emailed to you.
- If you do not see a confirmation screen or receive a confirmation email after you register, your registration is incomplete and you should resubmit online.
If you need to make a change once you have received your confirmation, please send an email or fax with your name and requested change(s) to email@example.com or fax: 303-492-5959.
- To avoid duplicate registration or charges to your account, please do not register a second time.
Cancelations / Refund Policy
If you must cancel your registration for this conference, please email or fax CU Boulder Conference Services your written cancelation notice (see contact information below). For cancelations made by May 28, 2015, your fee will be refunded less a $35.00 processing charge.
- No refunds will be processed for cancelations after May 28, 2015.
- Due to costs incurred by The IECA prior to the conference, unforeseen events preventing travel will not be a sufficient cause for a refund.
