The International Environmental Communication Association (IECA) is a professional nexus of practitioners, teachers, scholars and researchers, students, artists and organizations engaged in the study and practice of environmental communication.

2025-2029 IECA Elections

IECA’s 2024 Board Elections feature 14 candidates representing diverse backgrounds and regions, aiming to enhance inclusive leadership within the organization. Members have the chance to engage directly with candidates in upcoming Meet-and-Greet sessions. Voting opens online on November 1 and runs until November 15, providing an important opportunity to shape IECA’s future direction.

COCE 2025 Call for Proposals: Open for Submissions!

For the first time, the Conference on Communication and Environment (COCE) will be in the Southern Hemisphere (Tasmania, Australia). Participants will meet 23-27 June 2025, engaging the theme Environment and Communication: Shifting Perspectives, Creativity, and Conviviality from the Edge.
